UPS Express Critical Fuel Surcharge*
UPS Express Critical^® uses index-based air and ground fuel surcharges. Air fuel surcharges will apply on all air shipments, including the ground pickup and delivery. Ground fuel surcharges will apply on ground-only shipments. UPS ExpressCritical fuel surcharges will be updated monthly, effective on the first Monday of each month, and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. Trade Direct Air/Ocean U.S. Destination Warehouse Services
For non-warehousing accounts, Trade Direct cross dock is defined as logistics activity that attempts to reduce costs and total lead time by breaking down received items on the loading dock of 10 SKUS, sorting, and immediately matching them with outgoing shipment requirements, instead of stocking the items in warehouse locations and returning to pick for orders at a later time.
